Do you want to be a part of a young, hungry start-up working towards electrifying the world's vehicles and machines? Do you want to feel the exhilaration of working with a team of like-minded future-forward people using cutting-edge tech to create advanced battery systems? Then we think you might just belong with the ELEO crew!
We're growing every day, which means we need more fresh minds joining the team. Right now that means we’re looking for a Facility Manager to help us manage the growth of our ever-improving HQ!
What will you do as a Facility Manager?
At ELEO we provide cutting-edge battery systems with a superior energy density to power a wide variety of electric applications. You will be managing the existing building, planning/overseeing the development of our future HQ plans for 2024 and devising the best uses of temporary space in the meantime.
As ELEO’s new Facility Manager, you'll be dealing with:
On the development side:
- Guiding the process from requirements to realisation for our 2024 facilities
Enabling growth by creating the right (temporary) facilities.
On the operational side:
- Taking care of our current office & general facilities as the team grows.
- This includes arranging workspaces, manage the cleaning company and taking care of the catering.
- Helping to improve our technical spaces.
- This includes the workshop, logistic areas and assembly locations.
- Welcoming clients/visitors at the door.
A Day in the Life of a Facility Manager:
Your day kicks off with a cup of coffee. You check your email/messages, then meet with the architect and construction company hired by ELEO to discuss the proposed dimensions for the R&D facility to be implemented next year.
Next you meet your colleague Jeroen Bleker for another cup of coffee to discuss the safety improvements that were recently made to the current facilities.
After meeting with Jeroen you have a quick check-in with event manager Anneke Godding to see what is needed for the upcoming monthly drinks & bites at the office. You also discuss the theme of the event, which you have some fun ideas for.
You move on to arranging the new desks that arrived from our furniture supplier, then you fix the issues with the alarm settings that you noticed yesterday.
Around 12:30h it’s time for lunch. We have free lunch right in the ELEO breakroom, or if it’s a nice, sunny day you head outside to catch some rays with your teammates on a lunch walk. And of course, there’s always the opportunity to have lunch at the canteen of the Automotive Campus.
Then it's back to it! You meet with Head of Communications Lesley Koolen to discuss the visual plans for the new HQ to make sure that it is in line with ELEO’s branding guide. Then, you sit with the internal building expansion task force and make sure all the requirements stay aligned.
You wrap up your work and it’s time to go home! You had a dynamic and productive day and got a ton of great work done with your team. Enjoy your evening and see you tomorrow!
