What will you do as a HR Advisor?
At ELEO we provide cutting-edge battery systems with a superior energy density to power a wide variety of electric applications. You will be onboarding and supporting ELEO employees.
As ELEO’s new HR Advisor, you'll be dealing with:
- Advising and supporting business leads on HR topics
- Coaching and mentoring employees to support their development
- Working hands-on on HR tasks
- Looking at the more tactical and strategic areas of HR
- Initiating and developing projects to further build the HR department such as:
- talent management
- implementing HRIS system
- compensation and benefits
- learning & development
- Guiding & improving the onboarding processes for our new joiners
- Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support the growth of the company
A Day in the Life of a HR Advisor:
Your day kicks off with a cup of coffee. You check your email/messages, then meet Finance Lead Maarten Langeveld to set requirements for a new HRIS system. This week you are speaking to several companies that can provide a HRIS system and you want to be well prepared.
A colleague asks if you have 30 minutes time for him today. He has a question about his personal development and would like to have your advice/insights on how to proceed. You make time for him right away, and discuss his issue. Together, you come to a conclusion that makes sense and will be have the best outcome for him.
Around 12:30 it’s time for lunch. We have free lunch right in the ELEO breakroom, or if it’s a nice, sunny day you head outside to catch some rays with your teammates on a lunch walk. And of course, there’s always the opportunity to have lunch at the canteen of the Automotive Campus.
Then it's back to it! You meet with your fellow HR Advisor Tessa Janssen to go over ideas for how to set up a learning and development program for colleagues. There is a lot of room for growth, and you both have a ton of ideas for how to streamline the process and make it smoother.
You choose the ideas you’d like to build on, and together begin preparing a plan to present to co-founder Jeroen Bleker.
Your colleague Stephanie Fernandez lets you know that three new colleagues have been hired. The team is growing fast, and each month brings fresh faces to our halls—it’s an exciting time for ELEO!
You take care of the paperwork and make sure everything is taken care of before their first day of work. This includes making sure their welcome packets are ready and all the details of their contract and starting day are locked in.
You wrap up your work and it’s time to go home! You had a dynamic and productive day, and got a ton of great work done with your team. Enjoy your evening, and see you tomorrow!

- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years HR experience in a rapidly growing company
- Ability to build strong relationships and challenge the status quo
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects with various stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
