What will you do as an Lead IT at ELEO?
We see IT as an opportunity for accelerating our growth rather than as a cost-minimizing topic. In this role you will be responsible for developing the IT organization. This includes determining the best IT strategy that is fitting our R&D and operational activities. It includes creating a framework to integrate our current IT activities, such as the ERP systems, PLM tools, communication tools and the telematics platform connected to all our battery systems.
It will be your responsibility to expand on our data-centralized IT organization, combining the knowledge of our current experts across the teams with expansion of your team when necessary (for example with application specialist, IT specialists and data engineers). You will have the freedom to bring your own vision on all matters IT (but be prepared to be challenged..)
As ELEO’s new Lead IT you will be dealing with:
- Creating a comprehensive IT solution throughout the organization for all current and future company projects
- Planning and assessing further network development as the company expands to multiple locations
- Support the processes of selecting/maintaining/outsourcing various software packages/applications across the teams in ELEO including licences.
- Building, coaching and developing the IT team
- Ensure the security of our IT systems
- Develop processes for end users regarding the IT infrastructure
Requirements / Background
- At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in setting up an IT organization. No need for specific programming skills.
- Proven experience with building, coaching, developing and leading people
- Ability to translate company strategy into the IT organization to accelerate growth
- Good understanding of application lifecycle management
- Flexibility to deal with changing and evolving environments
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
