A day in the life of a Logistics Process Engineer:
Your day kicks off with a cup of coffee. You check your email/messages and check in with the warehouse and make sure the workflow is moving smoothly and all inbound and outbound goods are processed.
Today a special machine for R&D will be delivered, for which you arranged the transportation. You make sure the team has the correct information to receive it.
You have also prepared a presentation on the changes you will implement to the workflow and ERP, which you present to your ELEO team members. They were super impressed by how proactive you are, and are excited to watch your ideas take shape!
Around 12:30 it’s time for lunch. There is always an opportunity to have lunch at the canteen of the Automotive Campus, or we serve lunch at ELEO itself! If it’s a nice, sunny day you head outside to catch some rays with your teammates on a lunch walk. Our team is very dynamic and approachable, feel free to ask them anything.
Then it's back to it! The warehouse itself could use some improving, so you start planning on how signing and barcodes can be used to make things more organized and efficient. Finally, you work on creating a list of external logistics providers that you would like to explore a partnership with when ELEO expands and starts shipping more internationally.
You wrap up your work and it’s time to go home! You had a dynamic and productive day, and got a ton of great work done with your team. Enjoy your evening, and see you tomorrow!
