What will you do as a Project Manager at ELEO?

At ELEO we provide cutting-edge battery systems with a superior energy density to power a wide variety of electric applications. You will be the window person toward quality and production/pack assembly for the specific application.

As ELEO’s new Project Manager at ELEO, you'll be dealing with:

  • Managing internal Technical development (&resources) of customer applications for large OEM (multi-year developments typically)
  • Communicating with internal (procurement, production, quality) and external (customers) stakeholders. External together with sales representative.
  • Guiding the (multidisciplinary) team to the wanted end product according to the requirements & process.
  • Detailed planning, escalating when needed.
  • Giving input for continuous improvement of product & process.

A day in the life of a Project Manager:

Your day kicks off with a cup of coffee. You check your email/messages, then check in with one of the team leads Bas Rijs. He fills you in on a new project that’s coming in from a high profile client. You take down all the details he has, and make note of areas requiring more information. You also provide updates on current project, highlighting any interesting developments that come up.

After this informative pow-wow, you head back to the desk and call the new client to get as much information from them as possible on their needs from ELEO. Your main goal is to make sure that the client and the engineers are on the same page, and that we provide the best and most realistic solution.

With the information from the clients, you then talk to application engineers Marcell Mackic and Sid Viswanathan and they can begin devising a solution. You make the client’s needs clear and solidify the requirements (capacity, size, voltage etc.) so that they can get to work making some awesome battery packs.

Around 12:30 it’s time for lunch. There is always an opportunity to have lunch at the canteen of the Automotive Campus, or we serve lunch at ELEO itself! If it’s a nice, sunny day you head outside to catch some rays with your teammates on a lunch walk. Our team is very dynamic and approachable, feel free to ask them anything.

Then it's back to going through current projects and checking up on progress. You make sure that everything is running smoothly, and you follow up with clients. You check in on the assembly guys and make note of the progress, and make sure that everything is according to schedule.

You wrap up your work and it’s time to go home! You had a dynamic and productive day, and got a ton of great work done with your team. Enjoy your evening, and see you tomorrow!
