Senior Tester Embedded Software (HIL) | R&D

  • Bachelor
  • Fulltime

Do you want to be a part of a young, hungry start-up working towards electrifying the world's vehicles and machines? Do you want to feel the exhilaration of working with a team of like-minded future-forward people using cutting-edge tech to create advanced battery systems? Then we think you might just belong with the ELEO crew!

We're growing every day, which means we need more fresh minds joining the team. Right now that means we’re looking for a Senior Tester brimming with ideas to come on board and take the battery industry by storm with us!

What will you do as a Senior Tester Embedded Software (HIL) at ELEO?

At ELEO we provide cutting-edge battery systems with a superior energy density to power a wide variety of electric applications. You will be responsible for giving advice on battery testing and set up some testing infrastructure.

As ELEO’s new Senior Tester, you'll be dealing with:

  • Testing the battery pack software
  • Making sure required testing is performed and done well with the appropriate tools
  • Giving advice to other software departments on how to test their code

A day in the life of a Senior Tester:

Your day kicks off with a cup of coffee. You check your email/messages, then  have a daily stand up with the software team. Your team member Sebastiaan Verhoek talks about a new feature that you still have some questions about testing. After the meeting, you approach him and he explains how the feature should be tested in the hardware in the loop setup.

Then, you work on the new documentation generation tool for the test cases.

Around 12:30 it’s time for lunch. There is always an opportunity to have lunch at the canteen of the Automotive Campus, or we serve lunch at ELEO itself! If it’s a nice, sunny day you head outside to catch some rays with your teammates on a lunch walk. Our team is very dynamic and approachable, feel free to ask them anything.

Then it's back to it! You jump in and help test engineer Sai Prithvi who has some questions about a test case regarding charging.

At the end of the day you have a meeting with a company about designing a next-generation test system for the new hardware coming in.

You wrap up your work and it’s time to go home! You had a dynamic and productive day, and got a ton of great work done with your team. Enjoy your evening, and see you tomorrow!
