What will you do as a product compliance specialist at ELEO?

At ELEO, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our cutting-edge products meet global battery regulations. Dive into the dynamic world of off-highway electrification, where every day presents an exciting challenge as regulations continue to evolve. As our new Product Compliance Specialist, you'll not only assess the state-of-the-art but actively engage with industry associations like RECHARGE to implement new legislation.

 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a comprehensive regulatory overview tailored to different global regions and applications.
  • Active participation in industry associations to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
  • Evaluating potential new applications and customer requests with a keen eye on compliance.
  • Educating ELEO personnel on applicable standards and how to be compliant with the regulations.
  • Coordinating homologation testing with our dedicated testing team and certification bodies.
  • Ensuring all documentation and certificates are organized and up-to-date.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging product regulations and industry trends.

 

Requirements/Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of the global product compliance landscape.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in product compliance, homologation, or testing, preferably within the battery/electrification sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to create structure and convey complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel and participate in industry conventions and association events.

    If everyone is still vibing and it's looking like a really great match we will dive a little deeper into the applicable process. That means more in-depth discussions with your potential colleagues and a possible test case to show off your skills.
  • 4 Signing a contract
    If we're both sides are super excited after the assessment then we'd love to come to an agreement with you! As soon as you sign the contract, we'll strive towards building a long-term agreement in which we can both bring out the best in each other.
