What will you do as a Workplace and Infrastructure Manager at ELEO?

 

In a fast growing company as ELEO change is the one constant and as in many organizations the Workplace and Infrastructure domain is in the fundament of the company. We have outsourced our operational activities (1st, 2nd, 3rd line) to a partner and in this role you are responsible for and work together with our partner to improve and manage our WPS and Infrastructure services. A small part of the role will consist of contract, license and access management for a few smaller applications.


We are at the beginning of rolling out Intune managed laptops, we need to transition to Office365 and migrate our infrastructure to the cloud to enable every employee to create our advanced battery systems in a secure way, anywhere they want.


It sounds like a lot of challenges (which is true), but we’re not here yet. Next to your WPS and Infra responsibilities you are involved in setting up our IT processes and helping the business in growing into their roles as data owner and key user roles.


You will be having a direct impact on the processes of ELEO and how effectively we work as an organization. The foundation you and the team build now sets the standard of ELEO.

 

As ELEO’s new Workplace and Infrastructure Manager you will be dealing with:

 

  • Responsible for Workplace & Infrastructure services (Laptops, O365, Networking, Datacenters (server rooms, private and public clouds).
  • Lead and participate in various projects to improve these services or implement new applications. 
  • Manage our IT partner: projects, monitor operational processes, contract and budgets
  • Be an organizational change manager: Setup guidelines for how to work with your workplace (laptop, O365) and ensure the organization will adopt these guidelines.
  • Evaluate (lessons learned) of projects and implement process improvement for future releases.
  • Contract, license and access management for a selection of applications.

 

Requirements / Background

 

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology, Business Information Management, MBA or similar 
  • 3-5 Years of experience in managing outsourcing partner for workplace and infrastructure services
  • Experience as project or program manager in these domains
  • Experience with organizational change management and adoption programs is preferred
  • Knowledge of Office365, Azure, Networking to be able to challenge our partner
  • Analytical mindset, Good communication skills, Pro-active attitude & drive for improvement
  • You are an excellent listener and you know how to make an authentic connection with people (cultural awareness)
  • Fluent in English and residing in the Netherlands
  • Knowledge of Project management, ITIL, BISL, Agile methologies is preferred
