SPIKE Technologies has been awarded a CIO Magazine Innovation Award for being the most innovative start-up, scale-up or ‘challenger’ of 2020.
The jury was especially impressed by the large potential and sustainable mission of SPIKE in developing its high-performance modular battery systems that empowers a wide variety of electric vehicle manufacturers to bring competing products on the market.
The CIO Magazine Innovation Award is an annual competition organized by IT-Executive that celebrates disruptive IT innovations. Besides SPIKE, winners included Damen Shipyards, Surepay and Schiphol CIO Sjoerd Blüm.
Within the scale-up category in which SPIKE won, other nominees included Pacmed, Talaria and Tranzer.
